Pacific Wild Rebrand

Pacific Wild is a non-profit organization committed to defending wildlife and their habitat on Canada’s Pacific coast. The organization was seeking a new brand identity that would better represent their evolving mission, and speak to their growing network of supporters.

I designed a logo that is bold and memorable with a theme that reflects the interconnectedness of the land and sea of the Great Bear Rainforest. The bear (representing the land), and the salmon (representing the sea) are connected through the use of positive and negative space. The new logo retains certain elements of Pacific Wild’s previous logo, while putting forward a clean and contemporary look that functions well across all applications and scales. Pacific Wild’s redesigned brand has been applied to a wide variety of materials including websites, social media, apparel, books, stickers, pamphlets, newsletters and advertising.

I also created a 36 page brand guide to outline a set of standards for consistent use of the brand across print and digital applications. The manual covers brand strategy, logo application, typography, color palette, watermarks and more.
