Border Free Bees is a long-term public art initiative headed by Dr. Cameron Cartiere, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Culture + Community at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and Nancy Holmes, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies at The University of British Columbia, Okanagan, in collaboration with numerous strategic partners.
Since June 2015 I have been working as the in house graphic designer and photographer for Border Free Bees. My first contributions to the initiative include the design of their website and brand identity. I’ve also designed a handful of print and digital materials to support Border Free Bees’ many projects across Metro Vancouver and Kelowna. For my thesis project at Emily Carr University, I designed Insight Citizen Science for Border Free Bees.
